Duties: Manage client accounts as well as manage a team of up to 8 people that handled sales, web design and day to day operations of the advertising agency.

Achievements: Being able to travel around the world while helping companies succeed in their goals has been my biggest achievement. 

Alibaba Inc. ( Alibaba Group & Yahoo! China, Taobao, Koubei )

Position: SEO Consultant Date: 5/23/2007 – 12/31/2008

Duties: Design website structure to improvement traffic from search engines. Help establish relationships and projects within the Internet community.  Provide SEO training onsite and offsite to the many departments within the Alibaba Group.

Achievements: Due to a NDA specifics of the projects are not allowed to be mentioned.

GenieKnows  ( IT Interactive Services )

Position: Director of SEO & UI Date: 11/01/2007 – 21/06/2007

Duties: Manage the UI and backend design of the local search engine.  Trained the development teams on SEO practices and managed the SEO implementation.

Achievements: Help successfully design the zone functionality of the local search engine as well as ensuring the launch and the continued SEO growth of the local project.

GEOSIGN ( Geosign Technologies Inc. & TrueLocal )

Position: SEO Director Date: 04/02/2007 – 09/27/2007

Duties: Managed 14 SEO developers that reviewed and optimize 160 internal websites. SEO training for editorial staff and developing SEO systems for the on going projects. 

Achievements: Managing a large team while passing on my SEO knowledge and skills to my SEO team as well as the developers and writers within the company.

Global Sources ( Media Data Systems, Pte. Ltd. )

Position: Search Marketing Specialist Date: 12/19/2005 – 11/22/2006

Duties: Managing of all SEO and SEM work as well training a team of four people who where to support the SEO and SEM projects.  Also training of the other departments within the company on the technical aspects of SEO, including the China based teams.

Google Inc. ( Google AdSense & AdWords )

Position: Independent Account Manager Date: 07/18/2003 – 04/02/2007

Duties: Manage positioning and optimization of Google AdSense. Managed AdWords accounts for small businesses and individuals with budgets from $500 to $40,000/month.

Achievements: Helping small businesses grow into full companies, while others helping increase their revenue with the help of AdSense.

Dell Computers ( Dell Singapore & Malaysia )

Position: Google AdWords Publisher Date: 8/01/2006 – 11/01/2006

Duties: Create advertisements and keywords to generate sales for Dell computers and laptops. Manage the spend and rankings of the advertisements to ensure high ROI.

Achievements: Sold over 1 million dollars in Dell computers and laptops making me a top level publisher for Dell Computers in the Asia region.

MPee3 Corporation

Position: President/Webmaster Date: 8/01/2003 – 10/01/2004

Duties: Build and manage the company website and all its marketing.  Also, work with backend providers like Google and AOL to further the development of the project.

Achievements: Getting Rolling Stone Magazine to print that “MPee3.com is the best free MP3 downloading site” in their college music scene issue.

Farangs Thailand Hotels

Position: Owner/Operator Date: 4/01/2002 – 10/01/2003

Duties: Create a hotel reservation website for Thailand and implement and maintain the marketing of the website.  Work with the backend provider to ensure reservations and payments where handled properly.

Achievements: Within three months of launch achieved top rankings on almost every hotel name and generic hotel term for Thailand, while brining in over 1 million a month in hotel reservations.

Neon Performance Headquarters

Position: Owner/Operator Date: 5/01/1997 – 5/01/1998

Duties: Manage the warehouse, call center, mechanics and other day to day operations of the company.  Also create print and online ads used in major magazines and websites.  Later was involved in product development and supplier sourcing for neon parts.

Achievements: Developed the first production based turbo system, which was tested and developed in part at the Chrysler plant and later became part of the 2003 neon SRT which was named Sport Compact Car of the Year.

Featured front page news on how I developed and some of the marketing done by my company. Follow up stories where printed by the Vancouver Sun and TheProvince.

PC World Magazine

Article reviewing the marketing and development of my music search engine focused on searching the Internet for MP3 files.

Cannonball Run

Raced in the Cannonball Run/One Lap of America and raised money for the Make-A-Wish foundation.  Many great moments and was featured in Car and Driver Magazine.

MTV TRL & MTV Canada

Made an appearance on the famous MTV TRL show and promoted my 451 smart fortwo project. On MTV Canada did commercial spots promoting the MTV live chat.

Cartoon Character/Superhero

Was named No-Ton, a key scientist in the Superman novel the Last Days of Krypton and was made into a comic book character in the Grand Theft Galaxy manga series.

Global Knowledge & Worldwide Travel

To date I have lived in 6 countries: Canada, United States, Switzerland, Thailand, Singapore and China and I’ve also traveled to 49 countries.
